  1. Purpose

EZ Tax to Go offers online courses in taxation, accounting, and related subjects for individuals who wish to expand their knowledge, prepare for professional practice, or meet continuing education requirements. Our offerings include IRS-approved Continuing Education courses, practical courses that do not award continuing education credit, and professional training programs.

All courses are provided for educational purposes only. Course content does not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice for any user’s specific situation. Completing a course does not guarantee passing any state or federal examination, obtaining a license, securing employment, or earning any particular level of income.

  1. Registration and User Account

To access the courses, you must create an account using true, complete, and current information. For Continuing Education courses, your name and PTIN must match exactly the information on file with the IRS. EZ Tax to Go is not responsible if credits cannot be reported due to inaccurate information provided by the user.

Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Account sharing is prohibited, and no other person may take courses or examinations on your behalf. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

  1. Use of the Courses

Upon purchasing a course, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access its content for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase, unless the course description specifies a different access period.

All Content is the property of EZ Tax to Go or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Unless you have obtained our prior written authorization, you may not:

  • copy, download, record, reproduce, distribute, sell, or publish any Content;
  • share examination questions or answers;
  • use the Content to deliver your own training or for any commercial purpose;
  • attempt to bypass the Platform’s time, progress, or security controls.
  1. Examinations and Certificates

Each course concludes with a final examination. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass, unless the course description states otherwise.

  • Continuing Education courses:For courses that report credit hours to the IRS, including the AFTR course, students may take the final examination up to two (2) times during the access period.
  • Standard courses:For courses that do not report credit hours to the IRS, students may take the final examination up to three (3) times during the access period.
  • Additional attempts:Students who do not pass within the allowed attempts must repurchase the course to try again.
  • AFTR course:The AFTR comprehension test follows IRS requirements: 100 questions, a three (3) hour time limit, and a minimum passing score of 70%. The timer continues running once the examination has started.
  • Integrity:Examinations must be completed individually and without assistance from others. Any form of academic dishonesty may result in the cancellation of the course, termination of the account without refund, and, where applicable, the withholding of credit reporting to the IRS.
  • Certificates:A Certificate of Completion is issued after the student passes the final examination. Certificates are issued in the name registered on the account and cannot be transferred.
  • IRS credit reporting:For Continuing Education courses, EZ Tax to Go will report earned credits to the IRS within the timeframes established by the IRS, using the name and PTIN provided by the student. Obtaining an Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) Record of Completion also depends on requirements the student must complete directly with the IRS, such as consenting to the Circular 230 requirements in their online PTIN account.
  1. Pricing and Payment Terms

Course prices are displayed in U.S. dollars (USD) on the Platform and are subject to change without notice. Price changes do not affect purchases already completed.

Payment must be completed before course access is granted. We accept the following payment methods:

  • credit and debit cards;
  • Zelle;
  • PayPal;
  • PayPal Pay Later (installment payments through PayPal).

Card and PayPal payments are processed by secure third-party providers, and EZ Tax to Go does not store your full card information. For Zelle payments, course access is granted once we confirm receipt of the payment.

If you choose PayPal Pay Later, financing is provided by PayPal and is subject to PayPal’s own terms and conditions. Any installment agreement is solely between the user and PayPal, and EZ Tax to Go is not responsible for its fees, terms, or approval decisions.

Promotions and discount codes may not be combined unless otherwise stated and have no cash value. If a payment is declined or reversed, we may suspend course access until the payment is resolved.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

You may request a full refund within seventy-two (72) hours of purchase, provided that you have not completed more than 20% of the course or taken its final examination.

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • after 72 hours have passed since the purchase;
  • once the course has been completed or a Certificate of Completion has been issued;
  • once Continuing Education credits have been reported to the IRS;
  • when the account has been terminated for violating these Terms.

To request a refund, please email info@eztaxtogo.com with your name, the course name, and the date of purchase. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days.
